When selecting organizations and charities to support, the TITAN Impact team specifically looks for projects that fit into multiple of our five major areas .
The areas we focus on are as follows:
- Community Development
- Health and Wellness
- education
- environment
- Sports
Danish handball club Rudersdal Håndbold ‘s Under-14 girls team has players from various towns including Ydun, AB, Brøndby, Ledøje Smørum and Virum – they couldn’t be a better team for us to support.
Sports, community development, and health and wellness all fall into this category, so it’s no surprise that we’ve actually been supporting them for several years now .
Our latest initiative was to provide new uniforms. The young players not only needed shiny white uniforms to wear during matches, but also fleeces to keep them warm while training during Denmark’s notoriously freezing winters.
As you can see in the photo, each uniform is numbered, making it unique to each individual player, just like the Danish women’s handball players who are part of the world-class team.
Why TITAN supports this project
There were several elements of this project that aligned with our values: young female athletes, an inspiring sport on the rise, and athletes from different regions. TITAN Impact is about strengthening communities and driving positive change, and Rudersdal Håndbold truly embodies that.
